10 year height/spread: 2m/2.5m
Flowers: creamy white to yellow, sometimes pink tinged
Introduced 1850 by Hooker from Sikkim.
Recently collected 1960 onwards.
Distribution: Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Arunachal Pradesh.
Recognise by: dense rust coloured indumentum, matt upper leaf surface.
Epithet: after Falconer, supt. Sahranapur Gardens, 1832.
Should be tried throughout the UK in a sheltered position.
